Commonwealth Fashion Education Initiative

Are you a designer aged 18 or over and would like the chance to enter into the Commonwealth Fashion Council and Caramel Rock project with the chance to exhibit during London Fashion Week. The exhibition will take place every year inSeptember during London Fashion Week.
The Commonwealth Fashion Council is collaborateing with Caramel Rock (educational fashion charity) to lead for the first time ever a unit on Commonwealth Fashion for Btec pupils.
The Commonwealth Fashion Council will be collaborating with Caramel Rock based in East London to deliver a project on Commonwealth Fashion.
Students will be connected to members of the Commonwealth Fashion Council from various emerging fashion destinations from across Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Europe, Americas and the Pacific.
This exercise will enable students to examine and apply regional shapes, materials, patterns, and silhouettes into their product.

Aims of the competition in collaboration with knit one change one

Apart of the Commonwealth project, KOCO has provided Caramel Rock a competition amongst the BTEC Art and Design (Fashion and Clothing) class to have the winning student final design manufactured aboard but the design must reflect the company ethos and aim. In their research.
